Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease can certainly impact your finances, including personal savings, investments, or retirement benefits.  It may be useful to speak with your financial planner or attorney for advice on how to manage this.

Some considerations include long-term care insurance, moving your loved one into a new residence such as an assisted-living or nursing home, hiring home health aides, entering your loved in day programs, and maintaining their medical care and medications.
