We start with input from everyone who cares for your loved one here at our facility. We also use a comprehensive record of each resident's physical and mental functioning to help pinpoint changes in a resident's condition or treatment regimen that could affect behavior.
We also ask for your help. We need to know if there are family issues that might be affecting your loved one -- things like the death of a family member or friend, or the relocation of someone who used to visit.
And finally, in order to make our evaluation more objective, we often use one or more of the many standardized measurement scales available to identify specific behaviors and define desired outcomes.
