We aren't the only ones who evaluate our
performance and assess our quality. In order to be licensed, most
facilities have to measure up to certain standards and regulations.
To make sure we are meeting those standards and complying with
regulations, the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) requires
inspections of every aspect of our operations called surveys. Each
state government also surveys its long-term care facilities for
licensure. Incidentally, this data does not violate anyone's privacy
or reveal their identity. Surveys and data reporting help the
regulatory agencies assure that our facility meets or exceeds
requirements in providing the best possible care for your loved
one.
